Luke & Maggy West Village NYC
Luke and Maggy both serve for the United States Army so it was great honor to photograph this special moment for two very deserving and special individuals. Luke’s mother reached out to me to organize and plan the proposal for them. The proposal was planned to take place in the intimate Garden at St. Luke in the Fields in the West Village in NYC. Aside from the garden being a landmark, it is so peaceful and charming and a hidden gem perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of NYC. Luke and Maggy were visiting his mother in NYC for the weekend and couldn’t have let this opportunity for a surprise proposal pass him by. He carefully arranged with me a time and place where Maggy would never suspect a thing! All around, the day was perfect for them. They walked along Manhattan for the day and decided to take a break and sit down for a moment in the garden before “stopping” by to visit Luke’s mom. That’s when he asked Maggy to marry him. Her reaction is priceless! Capturing priceless moments like this makes everything so worthwhile! Congratulations to Luke and Maggy!
